COR MORNA

After a trip to Cape Verde last summer, I wanted to dedicate my work to Cape Verdeans in Luxembourg.

Cape Verde has been independent from Portugal for about 40 years and I wanted to discover this country which still entails a lot of Portuguese elements.

On arrival, I could see that people put great importance on colour and I started taking pictures of them surrounded by those specific colours.

After this experience, I looked for Cape Verdean families or people in Luxembourg who still got links to their homecountry and I went to their homes, parties, pubs and even associations.
